Speaking of Snarf, the 2011 version was more favorably received by critics and fans than the original version.Memorable characters, such as Lion-O, Tygra, Panthro, Cheetara, Snarf, WilyKit, and WilyKat.Great voice acting, especially from Will Friedle, Matthew Mercer, Kevin Michael Richardson, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Larry Kenney (who voices Lion-O in the original series), Corey Burton, Dee Bradley Baker, Robin Atkin Downes, Clancy Brown, Pamela Adlon, Satomi Kōrogi, Michael McKean, Madeleine Hall and Eamon Pirruccello.Beautiful animation for both 2D and 3D and the character designs are looks very impressive since it was made by Japanese studio Studio 4☌.This show stays faithful to the original series.Lion-O, who wields the powerful Sword of Omens, must lead a small band of surviving Thunderians to seek out the Book of Omens which is said to have the knowledge needed to defeat Mumm-Ra. In all honesty, I think making an entirely separate wiki-encyclopedia would be redundant. The show centers around the young ThunderCats prince Lion-O and his band of Thunderians as they are forced to flee their once thriving kingdom of Thundera after it is attacked and destroyed by the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra and his Lizard army. Heck, even in the case of wikipedia, a person with an account could add more info at their discresion. There are already sites on the internet that contains all this information.

All these above mentioned basics do not have much information about them - like, the schematics on how a vehicle/weapon would work, or background information showing what life was like for the Thundercats on Thundera, or how the Thundercats that we know got their positions in the first place, etc, etc. With this series, you have the basics - races, heros, villians, allies, vehicles, planets, weapons.Īnd that's the extent of it. I don't mean to sound like a stick in the mud in this case, but in comparison to some other fandoms (Star Wars/Star Trek/Pokemon/ to name a few examples), the Thundercats do not have a tremendous amount of information and baskstories within its respective fandom that would warrent the need to spend much time and effort in creating an entirely separate wiki encyclopedia of its own. I'm not usually the kind of person who'll throw myself out there like I have with this so I really appreciate the support.Ĭlick to expand. But how is one to create an in depth wiki encyclopedia about a cartoon that didn't have much depth to begin with? There maybe some extra stuff for the major contributors but I haven't really thought that far ahead yet. As long as the info they want to add is accurate and presented in an acceptable manner it'll be added. Whether its the fans who run the sites or the fans who just visit them. I see it as more of a collaboration between the fans. As far a collaboration between sites, yeah absolutely. is relatively low cost and seems to have everything we'll need to get things running. I personally don't have much money to invest in hosting and such right now but hopefully when things get going on it that won't be such a problem.

This is something I feel needs done, not only for the fans to find info but as a tribute to the show and the people who worked on it. This is something I would really like to see accomplished so yeah, I'm serious about it.
